Jenna Scavone is a freelance make-up artist and NYS licensed hair stylist, based in New York City.

 

She has been captivated with make-up and beauty since she was a little girl and believes make-up is form of art, a form of expression, and of course beauty. 

 

In pursuit to feed her creative hunger, she enrolled in cosmetology school out of high school. She spent the next 11 years working as a hair stylist at a high end hair salon in Buffalo, NY and building her freelance makeup career. She focused on bridal and was booked 1-2 years in advance, with nearly 60 weddings per year but as much as she loved the bridal industry, her soul was craving more. In 2017, she moved to New York City to attend the Academy of Freelance Makeup to further her knowledge of makeup and the fashion industry.

Since starting her career in NYC, Jenna has worked as an artist for fashion shows in New York and Milan, Italy. She also assists and is mentored by Jen Myles, Zenia Jager, Maud Laceppe and Kanako Takase,
